Today I bring you my latest blogpost on the National Geographic Voices blog! It talks about the work I have being doing with ATM, a Portuguese NGO dedicated to the conservation of marine turtles in Portuguese speaking countries. We have been working on a social marketing campaign to reduce the demand for sea turtle meat in São Tomé, the biggest of the two islands of São Tomé and Príncipe, an island country in the Gulf Guinea , West Africa. I wont give away any of the juicy details you can read about here, but give you the campaigns official anthem entitled Mém di Omali, or mother of the sea, in the local forro dialect.
Enjoy!
