The CITES COP and the future of rhinos

22/09/2016

The upcoming CITES COP has led to a lot of discussion around proposals to legalize the trade in rhino horn. I was interviewed by “El Español”, a large digital Spanish newspaper for an article entitled El futuro del rinoceronte, un asunto de cuernos . I was asked questions about the trade in synthetic rhino horn and its role as a substitute to wild rhino horn. This was following an article I published in The Conversation in 2015 entitled The trouble with using synthetic rhino horn to stop poaching.

Thanks Javier Yanes for the chance to talk about this issue!
